Anthony Saracina, LPCC-S

Anthony Saracina, LPCC-S, is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor-Supervisor with nearly four decades of experience in the mental health field. His client-centered approach is at the core of his therapeutic practice, where he focuses on building a strong, trusting relationship with each client. Specializing in adult anxiety and depression, college-related transitions, relationship issues, military veterans, and geriatrics, Tony brings a deep sense of compassion and expertise to every session.

A particular area of passion for Tony is working with young adults, especially those navigating the challenges of college life, personal development, and transitioning into adulthood. He understands the pressures young people face as they forge their paths, and he is dedicated to helping them build resilience, manage stress, and find clarity during this pivotal stage in life. His approach is rooted in the belief that people intuitively know what they want to change in their lives, and he works collaboratively with clients to help them reach their goals.

Currently, Tony provides telehealth therapy to adult populations through Telemynd and works with geriatric clients and military veterans at Community Health Associates and Freedom Fighter’s Therapy. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience in a variety of therapeutic settings, including residential, inpatient, outpatient, and home-based care. His versatility as a clinician allows him to address a wide range of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and grief. Additionally, as a mental health consultant for GMN Community Action, he has worked with Head Start programs and provided support to staff, parents, and children.

Tony holds a Master's degree in College and Community Counseling from the University of Akron and has earned certifications in Trauma-Informed Care. He remains committed to expanding his knowledge through ongoing training, including specialized courses in telehealth, geriatric counseling, and grief support. Licensed in Ohio, South Carolina, Florida, and Texas, Tony has the privilege of working with a diverse clientele across state lines.

Outside of his professional work, Tony is passionate about his family, including his children and grandchildren. He values the time he spends with his loved ones and is an avid supporter of his family’s well-being. When he's not working, Tony enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking, exploring nature, or simply enjoying the fresh air with his family. These personal passions enrich his ability to connect with clients on a deeper level and inspire his dedication to their growth and healing.
